How to Order

An Introduction

If you are new to luxury press-on nails, allow me to welcome you and explain a little about them. Gone are the flimsy, paper-thin drugstore nightmares most of us grew up with. Today we use full cover soft gel tips as the foundation for your nails, then a thin layer of soft gel builder base for strength without bulk, then color gel polish and finally a protective top coat. This results in a nail as strong as sculpted gel extensions, yet just flexible enough to mold to a variety of nail beds upon application.

The first step in your press-on nail journey begins with ordering a sizing kit, which includes one nail of every size available for you to measure against your own bare, natural nails to determine the sizes needed for each and every on yours hands. Most people have some variance from nail to nail, and even hand to hand, which is why drugstore nails and premade sets do not work for everyone.

With a sizing kit we can obtain the surest fit for every nail on your hands, which is key for a comfortable and seamless fit. Fit also impacts the retention, or longevity, of your set. With proper fit, prep, and application your luxury press-on nails should last a minimum of two weeks, and often longer. And because of the strength and quality of materials used, the nails can be removed and re-worn up to three times or more. 

Now that you have been introduced to luxury press-on nails, we can moved on to how to get you started. 

Step One:

Order a sizing kit in the shape and length of your preference. If you aren't sure what shape or length you'd like, we offer a started kit which includes a sizing kit and a shape finder kit with one nail of every shape and length we offer.

Also, if you believe you have or have been told you have difficult, problematic, or unusual nails/nail beds we offer complimentary consultations during which you can provide photos of your hands and fingers and receive personalized advice on which nails will be the most flattering, comfortable and safe.

Complimentary consultations are available on every order. 

Please, be aware customers are responsible for providing accurate sizing. Detailed sizing instructions can be found on the back of the kit and under the sizing kit listing here on the website. Due to the custom nature of our products we do not accept returns or refunds based on incorrect sizing.

Once you have identified your sizes, selected the shape and length, and chosen a design you can move on to step two, ordering your set.

Step Two:

Orders are currently limited to 10 design level orders per week. Order placement opens Sunday morning at 10 am CST until the same time Friday on a first come, first served basis. However, solid color sets are not counted as design level orders and can be ordered anytime during the order period Sunday-Friday. Once all design spots are filled, orders will close until the following Monday to allow me to complete each week's orders quickly.

Now that you have your sizes, shape, length and design chosen, you can begin the order placement process by contacting me by email at rachael@savedbymygel.com or you can Direct Message (DM) me on Instagram @savedbymygel Please, include any inspiration photos, drawings or mockups of the design. 

After I receive orders I review them for completeness in the order in which I receive them, and then I message back with your checkout information. Your order is secured only once you check out on the website.

Please, review your order before purchasing to ensure all the details are correct! Changes cannot be made once you place your order. Processing time is between 3-5 business days, shipping is between 3-5 business days so most customers receive their orders within 10 business days total.
