How Do I Order? How do I find my sizes? When will I Get my Saved By My Gel nails?
Click the 'How to Order' button on the menu above, and you will find detailed instructions on the ordering process, sizing your nails, and how long it will take to receive your order.
What if the nails in my sizing kit don’t fit?
One of our values at Saved By My Gel is to make press-on nails more accessible, and that includes sizing. If you can't find your sizes with the standard sizing kit, which is in the natural fit, don't worry! Through a complimentary consultation you can send me pictures and video of your natural nails and hands and I can often make adjustments through filing to tailor the nails to your unique nail beds and cuticle shape. If your nails are highly-arched we do carry structured fit nails which might provide more room and comfort. Just contact me via email at rachael@savedbymygel.com or DM me on Instagram @savedbymygel
However, I cannot guarantee a solution everyone. Clubbed nail beds and severely down-turned nails, unfortunately, aren't good candidates for press-on nails as there usually isn't enough contact between the press-ons and the lower nail bed for secure attachment. This also applies to severely bitten nails. Improper fit can result in the nails quickly popping off, damage to the natural nails, and possibly injury. Again, I do my best to make my nails accessible to as many people as possible, so if you think this might be you, contact me for a complimentary consultation before you give up.
How Do I Apply my Saved By My Gel nails?
We include two different products to use to apply your nails, Makartt liquid nail glue (lasts appx 14+ days) and temporary nail glue tabs (lasts appx. 1-3 days).
Liquid Glue Application - Meant to last 14+ days. See full instructions on the back of each card you receive your nails on.
Temporary Glue Tabs Application - Meant to last 1-3 days. Follow the same prep steps for the liquid glue, just use the glue tabs that best cover your natural nail bed instead.
Full application tutorials with both liquid glue and glue tabs are available on my Instagram page @savedbymygel
How Do I Remove my Saved By My Gel nails?
See full instructions on the back of each card you receive your nails on. If you used the Makartt liquid nail glue included please, remember that with proper application they are meant to last at least 2 weeks. Trying to remove the nails before 10 days have past will likely result in damage to your natural nails. A full removal tutorial is available on my Instagram page @savedbymygel
If you used the glue tabs included, they are easily and safely removed by soaking in a bowl of warm water, a pump of soap and a couple tablespoons of oil. A full removal tutorial is available on my Instagram page @savedbymygel
